"Misery" short film Directed and produced by Adil Tazrouti, and filmed by Alireza sadreddini , The film is starring the very talented actress Ellie Torrez, with Robert Sean_Riaz, Soufian Saihi, Simina Lavinia, Mina Renoir and Rodrig Andrisan.
Synopsis:
After she caught her boyfriend cheating on her, Sylvia decided to get her revenge in a very unusual voodoo way, she curses her boyfriend to make him suffer.
Some curses work in strange ways.

I saw curses and magic spells in films, and read about them in old stories and books. For me the challenge was to come up with an unusual one. So I used the African witchcraft where music is always a key in practicing black magic, and placed it in a modern environment where seeking revenge through magic is very unlikely to happen.
The curse takes the form of a musical instrument, when played; the victim is driven to tortures and sufferance.
I worked with Soufian Saihi -a musician and composer- to find the right instrument for the story, he suggested the African "GUMBRI", an ancient instrument with a haunting, powerful sound, Soufian did a fantastic job with the music and gave the film a distinguished rhythm and style.
Working with Ellie Torrez, Robert Sean_R, Simina Lavinia, Mina Renoire and Rodrig Andirsan was a great experience and they’re all very talented actors and actresses. They really pushed the story to a stunning level of performance.
